A giant dire frogâs tongue is a primary attack with reach equal to three times the frogâs normal reach (30 ft. for a Large giant dire frog). A giant dire frogâs tongue deals no damage on a hit but can be used to grab. A giant dire frog does not gain the grappled condition while using its tongue in this manner.
Environment temperate or warm swamp
Organization solitary or pair
Treasure none
Giant dire frogs are similar to their non-dire cousins but are much larger and more aggressive. They are a common threat to halflings and gnomes, who are often swallowed whole by these dangerous beasts.
